Puffin Post.

Slightly saddened by the weekend's under achievements I read the Guardian this morning (instead of the yucky brown and yellow local newspaper delivered to our front door) and was very excited to discover that Penguin has decided to relaunch its children's magazine the Puffin Post.

We were too young to have been Puffineers ourselves, but being avid Puffin collectors and being especially enamoured with the 1970's cover art and the brightly coloured spines (so cheap to collect!) we are looking forward to seeing what the powerhouse of cover art and innovative marketing will produce. The website doesn't look too promising, but these old designs leave us with something to hope for!! Apart from next year's finals season that is.

at long long last...and finally.

We don't know how to start this so we just will.
  • Brown & Bunting are happy to advise all patrons that we will be selling our exotic range of secondhand books at Federation Square every Saturday until Christmas.
  • Brown & Bunting are now taking book requests via email.
  • Brown & Bunting suggests that all those that can should attend the Uralla Book Fair, see website for details.
  • Brown& Bunting would like to remind all those keen on old books that this October is Rare Book Month, see ANZAAB for details.
  • Brown & Bunting express their deepest regret to all those concerned but they will now be posting regular updates.
